Corporate Tap is a program designed to bring the benefits of tap dance to Corporate America.  Dancers train much in the same way as athletes.  Sustained high achievement demands physical and emotional strength as well as a sharp intellect.


Dance is physical exercise. Exercise increases endurance.  Endurance enables muscles to work hard for increasingly longer periods of time without fatigue.  Elevating the heart rate can increase stamina. Executives who thrive under pressure sustain high achievement demands physically and emotionally and are required to perform at a high level at all times. 


According to the New England Journal of Medicine, dancing may boost your memory and prevent you from developing dementia as you get older. Science reveals that aerobic exercise can reverse volume loss in the hippocampus, the part of the brain that controls memory. Dancing also reduces stress, diminishes depression, helps your heart, helps you lose weight, and helps improve balance.




A dance class is the perfect setting to make new friends and branch out socially.  Maintaining positive relationships may just rank up there with healthy eating and exercise.  Being socially engaged leads to increased happiness, reduced stress, and a stronger immune system.


Corporate America is now starting to realize they can no longer just address their employees’ cognitive capacities while ignoring their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
